Coastal Resource Mapping was tasked with developing a data management system capable of analyzing, identifying and monitoring both suitable Coho and Chinook salmon spawning grounds over 8 strategic management areas along the west coast of Vancouver Island. The system provides data-linked interactive dashboards displaying the spatial locations of known and inferred barriers as well as the total habitable area along accessible stream lengths for each associated management.
