Climate Change

Coastal Resource Mapping has over 10 years experience monitoring, managing, and modeling threatened species and habitats in the context of changing land-use and climate. We incorporate robust applications of systematic conservation spatial planning approaches and utilize extensive use of spatial, ecological and climate change modeling techniques.

Recently, using publicly available knowledge gathered during the data collection and collation phase of current projects, CRM generated climate trend analysis in support of risk assessments of several local governments in British Columbia. This analysis provides a general overview of climate change impact in their regions as well as guidance on possible future considerations resulting from climate change.
